Phil Ruggles departs, new manager is Ellis Woods

The club has announced the resignation of manager Phil Ruggles and his back room staff Kris Hatton and Steve Lynch.

Over the last 3 seasons Phil has worked hard to move the club forward and bring in a greater plan allowing Eversley to thrive as a development club, bringing a younger, fresher, and exciting look to the 1st team.

The last 2 seasons have seen the highest finishes in the division in our history, playing for the first time in the FA cup, also making it through to 2 cup finals. The player pathway, has improved to see 10 players moving upwards into first team roles, and establishing good links with the youth section of our club.

We Boars now wish Phil all the best for the new adventures ahead as he moves on.

The incoming manager is Ellis Woods, along with his Management team of Jack Medhurst (assistant manager), Greg Stokes (coach) and Development Coach Dan Snook.

Ellis has eight years of coaching with Binfield FC's Youth and Development Squad, Chelsea FC & Arsenal FC's Development centre's as well as coaching abroad in Spain and France. He also has a degree in Sports Coaching, Management and Marketing.
