New Home is Meadowbank

Surrey County FA are delighted announce that their Board of Directors have formally agreed to take on the head lease of the Meadowbank Football Ground and to relocate their headquarters on site.

Surrey County FA Chief Executive Caroline McRoyall, said “The move will enable us to have a modern office combined with the best artificial playing surface for football, making Meadowbank Football Ground the new home for Surrey Football”

The current headquarters in Leatherhead has been sold subject to contract and Surrey County FA will now be working closely with Mole Valley District Council to finalise the Heads of Terms in order to ensure the new facility will be open in time for the 2016/17 football season, with construction starting in September.

Surrey County FA Chairman Les Pharo, commented “This new facility will enable us to deliver FA coaching and refereeing courses, Schools matches and County Cup Finals at Meadowbank, whilst ensuring local clubs and teams have access to a high quality training and match day venue”.
