Double Dose of Friday Football

By Admin ccl

4 clubs in action tonight

Friday football in the CCL is back with a bang tonight, with two matches, one in the Premier Division and one in Division One taking place.

In the Premier Division, Colliers Wood United entertain their ground share partners Balham in the first ever league match between the clubs. Kick-off is 7.30 p.m.

Meanwhile in Division One, Badshot Lea, ground sharing at Camberley until their new ground is completed, take on local rivals Fleet Spurs, newly arrived this season from the Wessex League. Kick-off is 7.45 p.m.

There is also a full league programme on Saturday, with leaders Westfield venturing into Middlesex to meet AFC Hayes who had a good FA Vase replay win on Tuesday against Hatfield Town, although Westfield topped that with a 5-1 win at Hanworth Villa, following a very even first half which saw the teams turn over level at a goal apiece.

In Division One, pace setters Eversley & California entertain Kensinton Borough, whilst the bottom two meet at The Orchard, where Bedfont & Feltham look forward to the visit of Cove FC.

The "match of the day" though is undoubtedly the FA Cup clash in which our sole survivors, Knaphill make the 95 mile journey to meet Bath City, from the National League South. The League's best wishes go with them.
