Barbara to Stand Down

By Admin ccl

There will be a new Registration Secretary next season

The League will have a number of posts to fill next season, one being the vital job of Registration Secretary.

Our current long serving post holder Barbara Fripp (pictured)has now told us formally that she will be stepping down at the end of the season, although we still expect to see plenty of her in her role as a League Vice-President. Barbara has done sterling work over many years since taking over from Ron Monkley and will be missed not only by her fellow league offices but certainly by the clubs, many of whom have had cause to be grateful for her help on many an occasion.

The League will also be looking to appoint a new Vice-Chairman for next season following the sad loss of Tony Ford last October.

It is also the intention to appoint a specific Youth Secretary to look after the Under-18 and the U21 Divisions and finally the League would also be pleased to hear from anyone interested in taking on a media role.

It should be mentioned that all positions are entirely voluntary.
