Programme hit hard by rain and water logged pitches

Only three games were played on Saturday 21st, the others all being postponed because of waterlogged pitches.

In the Premier Division, Ascot United moved to within a point of leaders Spelthorne Sports with a 1-0 home win against Badshot Lea. In the other game in the division, Sheerwater drew 1-1 against Abbey Rangers at Woking FC’s ground. This was the only one of the three games that was played on a grass pitch. On Wednesday, Molesey had won 2-1 at Guildford City and moved up from 11th to 6th. As an indication of how closely contested is this division, only five points separate Colliers Wood United in third place from Sutton Common Rovers in 11th.

In the only Division 1 match that was played, Dorking Wanderers Reserves had an emphatic home win, beating FC Deportivo Galicia 6-2. Depor had their keeper sent off in the first half for handball outside the box, while Jack O’Connor scored two for Wanderers. This result moved the Meadowbank side up from 11th to 8th in the division.
