Sin Bin Experiment

The Football Association has given notice of its intention to trial a system of “temporary dismissals” next season, whereby any player cautioned for dissent will be sent to the “sin-bin” for 10 minutes. The caution administered will still be recorded but the usual £10 fee will not be applied.

The FA has invited applications from Step 7 leagues in the first instance and they have been invited to apply accordingly.

Although it will not affect the CCL at this stage, it is certainly an interesting development and one that some have previously called for.
