Redhill's Home FA Cup tie to be hosted at St Francis Rangers' ground while works ongoing at Kiln Brow

FROM REDHILL FC

Now that the ground works are almost complete and seeding has taken place, we’re waiting for the grass to grow under our feet, literally! Its hard to predict how long before our first home game of the season on the new surface - we’re in the laps of the Gods with regard to weather conditions and growth rates in that respect. We will post regular updates over the coming weeks and keep you all appraised of progress.

This year the FA have brought forward their FA Cup programme by two weeks compared to last season, so we kick off the 2016/17 Season at 3:00pm on Saturday 6th August with an FA Cup (Extra-Preliminary Round) fixture against St Francis Rangers.

This game is being hosted by St Francis Rangers at their Haywards Heath ground (Colwell Ground, The Princess Royal Hospital, Lewes Road, Haywards Heath, RH16 4EX) and we are indebted to them for their kind support and co-operation in this regard. With the game unplayable at Kiln Brow just now, our opponents willingly agreed to help out and will facilitate the fixture at their ground…many thanks to John Goss and the management at St Francis Rangers.
