Surrey FA is a one of the leading County FA’s in the country and is a not for profit organisation with charitable status. This is an exciting time for us as we continue to transform our services and implement our business strategy to inspire and create football opportunities for all. We are now seeking to recruit an inspiring, dynamic and motivated individual as our new Chief Executive Officer.

Based in our newly built offices in Dorking, Surrey, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with the charity’s Board of Trustees to develop all aspects of Football in the County by implementing our exciting new strategy, as well as maximising commercial and sponsorship opportunities to ensure financial stability for the future.

We are a County FA serving in excess of 3,000 teams and 55,000 players, we have 60 County members and 25 staff working across 15 Local Authorities. We are looking for a charismatic, energetic and confident leader with excellent interpersonal skills who can lead a committed and talented staff teamwork with County members and other stakeholders to deliver a first-class service across Surrey.

We expect the successful candidate to embrace and support changes being made in the game at a national level and embed those changes within the County. You will also need to be passionate about and committed to the development of grassroots football, have experience in leading and managing teams and be comfortable with generating income through commercial and sponsorship activity.

As this role involves direct access to young people under the age of 18, within the context of the job and any subsequent related activities or responsibilities, the successful candidate will undergo a thorough screening process that will include an enhanced level Disclosure and Barring Service check to ensure their suitability for the role.

37.5 HOURS PER WEEK

Salary package up £65-70K per annum
