Epsom & Ewell seek new manager

By Admin ccl

Applications close 2 January 2020

Epsom & Ewell Manager Simon Funnell has resigned for personal reasons.

As a result Epsom are now looking for a new manager. It is an exciting time for the club with the move to Leatherhead FC next season, which is much closer to Epsom, of course, the hope being that far more local people will support the club at their new base.

The club is now seeking to appoint a new manager with next season firmly in mind when the clear brief will be to win promotion and take the club back to Step 5. Anyone interested in the post should apply by email to Club Chairman, Peter Beddoe at p.beddoe1@ntlworld.com. The closing date for applications to be received is 2 January with interviews and the appointment to follow as soon as possible in January.

The club paid tribute to outgoing manager Simon Funnell, thanking him for his efforts and wishing him well for the future. The club made a point of saying that he will always be welcome at Epsom & Ewell.
