Redhill Seek a Commercial Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Development Manager to join our team at Redhill FC and help drive commercial growth and brand value for our Club. If you have a proven track record in sales, account management, brand planning or product development – in other words, you will be a fully rounded commercial professional who can be trusted to maintain and develop crucial relationships. You will be able to take a strategic view of the Club’s portfolio and develop ways to maximise potential from existing brands, as well as see opportunities for new clients.

You will also need to be comfortable with process, e.g. setting annual financial budgets for revenue and expenditure, preparing and delivering contingency plans as well as negotiating and generating contractual agreements You will also be responsible for developing compelling marketing materials that communicate the Club’s brand values and processes.

As a proven people manager, you will have experience of developing and to provide best-in-class service.

PERSON:
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and a personable professional. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate significant experience in a similar commercial role, with a good knowledge in sales and marketing.

You will have an excellent level of business acumen, with a strong grasp of figures and the ability to produce accurate reports. This role will also call for someone with strong interpersonal skills and confidence, who can build strong working relationships with colleagues within the Club as well as with suppliers. It will therefore be imperative for you to be able to demonstrate excellent communication and customer facing skills.

You will also need to be professional and credible, with an ability to present a professional, smart and confident image to clients when representing the Club. To be successful in this role you will need to be a highly organised individual with a structured approach to working. An ability to use your initiative, effectively problem solve and be able to prioritise. You should be IT literate with a good level of proficiency.
