FINES SECRETARY REQUIRED

By Admin ccl

Applications required by 9 April

The League is looking to appoint a new Fines Secretary for next season as Roger King is standing down, although he will be continuing as Results Secretary.

The job entails the receiving of reports from match officials and club officials where a fine is required, and then sending the fine to the club in question, in accordance with the rules. If it is necessary the fine has to be followed up, with an additional fine for failing to deal with league business, if payment is not made within the requisite time.

It is a full committee position and the post holder will be a member of the Management Committee expected to attend monthly meetings and submit a report to each meeting, including any circumstances where clubs have still failed to pay and likely to be suspended until payment has been made.
As a member of the Management Committee, you would be expected to involve yourself in other aspects of the League’s activities as and when requested.

Previous experience is not necessary but it is important that the post holder is well organised and keeps matters fully up to date, with fines being sent out within three days of receipt. Computer literacy is required as email is the main means of communication between the Fines Secretary and the clubs.

It is an honorary post, as are all positions on the Management Committee, although legitimate expenses are paid.

Anyone interested should please send an email to the League Secretary Alan Constable (alanc52@aol.com) no later than 9 April 2017.
