Coup for farnham

Manager Paul Tanner (pictured) has this week re-signed experienced striker, England beach soccer international and goal scorer Mark Corbett. He has signed a one year contract with a clause that if he wants to go to the seaside, as long as he gives a weeks notice, then it will be accepted.

Corbett scored over 30 goals in Farnham's promotion winning season in 2011 and has scored regularly last season alongside Matt Glass. 'I'm happy to sign again and we are looking forward to having another big year. We've got our own targets and I will do all I can for the team to get there.'

Tanner added 'Mark has shown the right attitude and wants to be here again. He even wanted to put on extra sessions for some of our players who came back with a bit of timber and we look forward to seeing his Alan Sheareresque celebration at the Memorial Ground a lot this season.'
