A full programme Scheduled but will the weather intervene?

The forecast is not great, but there is another full schedule of football on Saturday in the CCL. Indeed the weekend started on Friday evening when Sutton Common Rovers beat Colliers Wood United 2-0 to go above Bedfont Sports into second place, behind Westfield.

Bedfont have the opportunity to re-take the runner-up position on Saturday as they travel to Horley Town, whilst Walton & Hersham entertain Redhill.

Amongst a full programme, Balham FC, fresh from winning 8-4 last week and then beating Hendon in the London Senior Cup in midweek, will be at home to CB Hounslow United.

Basement boys Epsom & Ewell face a difficult trip to Hanworth Villa.

In Division One, Badshot Lea will battle it out at AC London, whilst Cobham will entertain Staines Lammas. The outcome of both matches will affect the top few places.

Divisional leaders Worcester Park are at home to Kensington Borough who themselves have been in good form recently.

FC Deportivo joined Worcester Park in midweek in the semi-finals of the Esoteric Recordings Division One Cup but needed extra time to eventually defeat a resilient Chessington & Hook by the remarkable score line of 7-4. The match was a personal triumph for Deportivo’s Anton Fernandez who scored no less than six of his side’s seven goals.

Sheerwater entertain Eversley on Saturday in the third quarter final match. The draw for the semi-finals will be made at the next Management Meeting on Monday 12 February.
