Penny (Kift) leaving the FA on 31 March 2016

Along with other leagues, we have received the following from the Football Association:

“I am writing to advise that you Penny Kift has taken the decision to leave the Football Association and will be leaving on the 31st March 2016 . Penny has been an outstanding Officer for the Football Association and has worked closely with yourselves and your member clubs for over twenty years, in addition to supporting the various committees at the Football Association.

During that time Penny has developed an in depth knowledge of this level of the game and has made a significant contribution to the development and administration of the National League System, as such she will be greatly missed as she is respected and valued member of the League & Club Services Team.

The FA has commenced the recruitment process for a National League System Officer and the link below which will take you to the advert and job description,

In closing I would like to place on record my personal thanks for the commitment and dedication that Penny has given to the FA over the last twenty years and to wish her every success in the future.

Regards

Laurence C Jones
Head of League & Club Services”

The Combined Counties League would echo those words.

Everyone who has come into contact with Penny will be aware of both her knowledge and helpfulness in dealing with promotions, ground inspections and all the other matters upon which we have to concentrate upon and as a League we are desperately sorry to learn of her decision to leave the Football Association.

As you can see above, her job has already been advertised, the deadline for applications being 29 January 2016.
