Statement from Farleigh Rovers

It is with regret that we announce that first team manager Duncan Algar has resigned from his position late last night.

The club would like to thank Ducan for his efforts since he took on the role just a week before the season started, and he had a very difficult job on his hands. Unfortunately it's not worked out, through no lack of effort on his part.

Due to the timing of this, we are unfortunately unable to field a side for today's game away to Sheerwater. We would like to apologise to their management, committee and players for this as well as the league.

We will provide a further update as soon as possible.
