Fleet Spurs FC are looking for a new Club Secretary to start as soon as possible (ideally from July 2018).
We operate out of our ground at Kennels Lane in Farnborough. We will be running six adult teams for the 2018/19 season, with their first team in the Combined Counties League Division One, Reserves in the Suburban League (to be confirmed), with A & B teams in the Aldershot & District Saturday League. On Sundays we run two Veterans teams in the Farnham & District League where we were last season's Division 3 champions.
Additionally we now have some great links with Fleet Spurs Youth FC and are developing a good working relationship with the youth teams.
For next season 2018/19 we have also brought in a new management team to run the first team and are very excited about the forthcoming season.
As a result we are now seeking a new Club Secretary to look after the administration of the club. The Club Secretary role is interesting and varied (and voluntary!) and mostly involves dealing with any club correspondence, player registrations, and ensuring that match returns are sent to the various leagues in good time.
Who are we looking for? Ideally we would like to take on somebody with existing Combined Counties League (or another step 5 & 6 league) experience as a club secretary, but would also be interested in candidates with relevant experience at other clubs or leagues who would like to "step up" to a senior club.
