Changes to Bank Holiday Monday Matches

By Admin ccl

All Games Subject to no FA Cup Replays

It has been traditional over many years for Bank Holiday matches in the CCL to kick off at 11.30 a.m. but clubs are always allowed to vary this if they both agree.

As a result, one of the scheduled matches on Bank Holiday Monday 31 August, the all Middlesex derby between Bedfont Sports and AFC Hayes will now kick off at 1.30 p.m.. That would give anyone who wants two matches in a day the opportunity to take in either the Ashford v Chertsey game of the Hanworth Villa v Spelthorne Sports match in the morning.

All the matches mentioned are, of course, subject to confirmation as if any of the clubs involved draw their FA Cup matches on the Saturday, they will be involved in FA Cup replays instead, mostly on the Tuesday evening, with the Bank Holiday Monday matches being postponed.

There is one other change to the scheduled programme on Bank Holiday Monday. Camberley Town and Badshot Lea have been given permission to switch their match to the Tuesday evening, at Camberley, kicking off at 7.45 p.m.
