From John Porter

Ascot United beat Spelthorne Sports 2-1 in the top-of-the-league clash in front of a crowd of 260 at the Racecourse ground, more than double their season’s average for home games. They are now nine points clear of Spelly, who have a game in hand. Lurking one point behind are Knaphill, who have three games in hands on the leaders. The Knappers won 4-1 at bottom club CB Hounslow United with two goals from Louie Paget. Frimley Green beat Colliers Wood 2-1 at the Recreation Ground, Nathaniel Thomas getting their winner in the 94th minute, and move up to fourth in the table. Molesey overtook Abbey Rangers into sixth with a 2-1 win at Cobham thanks to two second-half goals from Jamielee Di-Giuseppe.

At the other end of the table, Sheerwater won 3-0 at Camberley, while Hanworth Villa continued their winning run with a 3-1 victory at Egham and are now 18th in the league.

The games at Badshot Lea, Balham and Banstead were all postponed.

Division 1

Only three games in the division survived. Walton & Hersham won 2-1 at Eversley and move up into third at the expense of Tooting Bec, who lost at Kensington & Ealing Borough by the same score, after leading at the interval. In the other game, Fleet Spurs won 2-0 at British Airways and are in fifth place, though the sides who are just below them – Bedfont & Feltham, Sandhurst and Borough - all have games in hand.

We now wait to see what happens. As soon as there is any news it will appear here and clubs, of course, will be contacted.

In the meantime, keep safe.
