Monday Night Football with the CCL

One or two of our clubs have opted to play their midweek home matches on Monday evenings and one of them are new boys Abbey Rangers, who, this evening (Monday 17 August) will entertain Staines Lammas, doing very well under new manager Adam Bessant in a Division One fixture.

Abbey have made a quiet start to the new season at a higher level after gaining promotion from the Surrey Elite League last campain but got off the mark last Tuesday at Sandhurst Town in a 2-2 draw. They lost narrowly at champions Farleigh Rovers on Saturday, 1-2, but will wish to give a good account of themselves this evening against their unbeaten visitors.
