Full League Programme

The start of the season is hectic for most clubs, with FA Cup and Vase fixtures all taking place in the early part of the campaign but there is a little oasis this Saturday as there is a full league programme in both divisions.

The early pacesetters in the Premier Division and still with 100% records after three matches are Abbey Rangers and Balham. Abbey visit newcomers Southall this afternoon, at the latter's adopted home at Ashford Town, whilst Balham face an intriguing match away to Walton & Hersham, certainly one of the pre-season favourites but still to fire on all cylinders.

We have two other clubs who have played a game less but still have 100% records after their two league matches. One is Sutton Common Rovers who just fell short of promotion last season. They play away to Badshot Lea who have found life back in the Premier Division quite tough after winning promotion last season but it’s early days yet. The final 100%ers are Chertsey Town, now managed by Dave Anderson, ex-AFC Wimbldon boss and they are at home to another newly promoted club, Raynes Park Vale.

In Division One it is even earlier days, but leading the pack so far are Eversley & California, who have won their two opening matches. They face a stern test this afternoon away to Frimley.

Newcomers Tooting Bec have yet to concede a goal but have only scored one themselves and they entertain Godalming Town who need to arrest the slide that has seem them tumble two divisions in recent times. Perhaps the biggest enigma at the moment is Bagshot. After a trouncing by eleven goals to nil in their first match against Bedfont & Feltham, they bounced back sufficiently well to see of British Airways last week and they themselves had won their first match. Tomorrow, Bagshot entertain Epsom & Ewell at their new home at Fleet Town.

All the results will be on this site and others just as quickly as Results Secretary, Roger King, can get them on, once they come in.
