Premier Division

Ascot United have moved back to the top of the league with two victories. On Tuesday they thumped Frimley Green 6-0 with Aaron Berry and substitute Ian Davies each scoring two.

In the one league game in the division played over FA Vase weekend, they only scored one at Southall, but it was enough to give them all three points.

Knaphill drop to second, having won 4-2 at Egham Town.

There was another heavy defeat for Molesey, this time 5-0 at CB Hanworth Villa, who had five different scorers. Ben Merson got a hat-trick for Hanworth Villa in a 4-1 victory at Southall, and Abbey Rangers beat Redhill by the same score with Kery Kedze scoring two. New signing Andre
Smith scored two late penalties in Guildford City’s 2-1 win at Banstead Athletic.

Division 1

Walton & Hersham have leapt to the top of the Division table with a 9-0 trouncing of Bagshot, Jamie Byatt scoring four and new boy Will Kouadio two, having come on as a substitute. To date they’ve scored 19 in their four games and conceded none.

The Swans went one better than FC Deportivo
Galicia, who could “only” manage eight against Dorking Wanderers Reserves. Arcaitz Ruiz & Anton Fernandez each scored two. Tooting Bec are second, not surprisingly on goal difference, after defeating Epsom & Ewell 2-1. Westside and Jersey Bulls still have 100% records after 1-0 wins and
are third and fourth, respectively. Westside overcame Godalming Town on Wednesday.

The Bulls won their 30 th consecutive league victory, beating Fleet Spurs on Friday, but it took them until the
87th minute to break the deadlock. Farnham Town drop to sixth after going down 2-1 at Chessington & Hook United. Sam Evans of Bedfont &Feltham scored two first-half goals in his side’s 3-2 victory against Ash United. There were two more braces in Kensington & Ealing Borough’s 4-2 win against
British Airways, Eva Batousol for the home side and Ed Simon for visitors Airways.

FA Vase

Saturday was the date of the First Round Qualifying of the FA Vase. 22 of our teams progressed to the Second Round Qualifying, which is to be played over the weekend of 10 October. Three of the ties will each feature two of our clubs.

 Abbey Rangers beat Westside 3-1 with two goals from Luke Robertson and host Guildford City,
who beat Banstead Athletic 4-2 on penalties.

 Following their 4-2 victory at Step 6 Spartan South Midlands League Division 1 Rayners Lane,Hanworth Villa entertain FC Deportivo Galicia, 1-0 winners at Holyport of Step 6 Hellenic 1 East.

 Raynes Park, who won 3-2 at home against Rusthall, visit Redhill, who beat Snodland Town 3-1 on penalties. Both losing teams play in Step 6 Southern Counties East Division 1.

Six of our teams were already in the next round, having been awarded byes in the draw.

 Ash United will entertain Step 5 Wessex League Premier Division Bashley

 Cobham visit Step 5 Southern Combination Premier Division Crawley Down Gatwick

 Fleet Spurs go to Step 6 Hellenic Division 1 West side Clanfield 85

 Jersey Bulls are at Step 6 Southern Combination Division 1 Billingshurst

 Sandhurst Town host Long Crendon of Step 6 Hellenic League Division 1 East

 Tooting Bec entertain Step 6 Southern Counties East Division 1 Lydd Town

In the other 10 ties:

 AFC Hayes, 3-0 winners against Step 5 Spartan South Midlands Premier Division Leverstock Green, host Penn & Tylers Green of Hellenic Division 1 West

 Badshot Lea had a good 4-0 win against Wessex League Premier side Shaftesbury and will visit Fareham Town of the same Division

 CB Hounslow United, 6-5 victors on penalties against British Airways, entertain Step 5 Hellenic League Premier Division Easington Sports

 Colliers Wood United went through comfortably after beating Mile Oak of Southern Combination Division 1 7-1, Mario Embalo scoring two, and will travel to Erith & Belvedere of Southern Counties East Division 1

 A hat-trick for Charlie Penny helped Epsom & Ewell to a 4-0 home win against Southern Counties East Division 1 Bridon Ropes. The Salts will host Langney Wanderers of Southern Combination

Premier Division

 Farnham Town beat Step 6 Wessex Division 1 Downton 4-2 with Charlie Oakley getting two.
They will welcome Petersfield Town of the same division

 Frimley Green beat local rivals Cove 7-6 on penalties and are away at Step 5 Wessex Premier
Tadley Calleva

 Molesey overcame Crowborough Athletic of Southern Counties East Premier Division 4-2 on penalties and travel to Sheppey United of the same division

 Sheerwater, who beat Southern Counties East Division 1 SC Thamesmead 2-1, entertain Southern Combination Premier Division Horsham YMCA

 Walton & Hersham, 3-1 victors over Southern Counties East Division 1 Meridian VP, are at home to K Sports of the Premier Division of the same league.
