Striker signs 3-year contract

Horley Town striker Ashley Nadesan has joined Fleetwood Town on a 3-year deal. The 22-year-old joins the Cod Army after scoring 99 goals in two seasons for Horley.

Nadesan was delighted to put pen to paper with Steven Pressley's League 1’s side after speculation over his future.

"I'm buzzing to be here especially after all the recent speculation about my future. I'm so happy to be here and can't wait to get going. I first heard about the interest from the club a couple of months ago, and ever since then it's just spiralled really. I had to accept the offer because Fleetwood are a quality team. The past two seasons have been incredible for me. The manager at Horley played me where I wanted to and the team around me have all been quality. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have scored 99 goals, and it was just a shame really that I didn't score my 100th but I'll save that for Fleetwood!"
