Early Season Premier Division Fixtures Released

The early season fixtures in the Premier Division have been released.

The Division gets underway on Monday 1 August, when Sutton Common Rovers will be entertaining Horley Town at Sutton United in what should be a worthy start to the season.

The fixture list in that first week has been confined to those clubs who asked for a midweek fixture prior to playing in the FA Cup on Saturday 6 August and there are four more games on Tuesday 2 August, including relegated North Greenford United opening their campaign with a home match against Middlesex rivals Hanworth Villa.

There is one match on the Wednesday when Colliers Wood will entertain last season's 3rd placed side Camberley Town on their excellent surface.

Following the FA Cup matches on the Saturday, there is a further partial programme the following midweek, although all the fixture that week are subject to possible FA Cup replays, which would take precedence.

The first full programme is then scheduled for Saturday 13 August with some intriguing games. League champions Hartley Wintney will entertain last season's Division One champions, CB Hounslow United, whilst relegated Walton & Hersham start their campaign with a home match against Spelthorne Sports. The other two clubs promoted from Division One, namely Abbey Rangers and Bedfont & Feltham will both have home games against Guildford City and Westfield respectively. Another attractive looking game wil be at Stag Meadow, with Windsor entertaining fancied Epsom & Ewell.

The whole annual fixture list is under compilation and will be issued by 26 July, maybe earlier. Early season Division One fixtures for Saturday 13 August have been slightly held up as we are waiting for two clubs to confirm their home availability but will hopefully be published over the present weekend.
