Premier Division
Because of FA Vase games and postponements, there were only three league games in the division on Saturday. Sutton Common Rovers took advantage of this, moving seven points clear at the top after their 4-1 victory against Redhill, Danny Fernandez scoring two.

Badshot Lea beat Abbey Rangers 1-0 at Wrecclesham but remain in sixth place. Knaphill were one of the few teams to move
up the table, despite mixed fortunes over the week. On Tuesday, they went down 2-0 at home to Egham Town, but on Saturday triumphed by the same score at Colliers Wood United.

Division 1

The top three places remain unchanged. Neither Farnham Town nor Walton & Hersham had league games, while Westside stay third, despite their 4-1 defeat at Eversley and California. Bradley Brown scored a first-half hat-trick for the Bears.

FC Deportivo Galicia and Tooting Bec move up to fourth
and fifth respectively after comfortable victories over Chessington & Hook United.

On Tuesday, Bec won 4-0 at Chalky Lane, ex-Walton & Hersham striker Tyreke Leslie notching two, and on Saturday
Depor triumphed 3-0 at Bedfont Sports with two goals from Juan Devia.

Chessy are now down to seventh, as Kensington & Ealing Borough go sixth after hammering Bagshot 8-2 in their biggest victory since they joined the league. Jabir Laraba got a hat-trick and Miguel Lopes de Matos scored

At the other end of the table, Dorking Wanderers Reserves enjoyed an impressive 5-1 victory at Meadowbank against Godalming Town. Lee Dobbs scored two, and Trae Cook-Appiah did even better, coming off the bench to claim a hat-trick.

Cove stay 18th after their 1-1 draw with Bedfont &
Feltham at Squirrel Lane.

FA Vase

Of our 15 teams who were in The First Round Proper, five progressed into the Second Round Proper and seven were eliminated at the weekend.

Three teams – AFC Hayes, who were to visit Stansfeld,
and Raynes Park Vale & Sheerwater, who were drawn together – had their games postponed.

It is worth noting that, apart from Step 6 Stansfeld, all our teams’ opponents play in Step 5 leagues.
