Thsi evening's match Chessington & Hook v Hartley Wintney may be switched at very short notice to Molesey FC.

The pitch at Chalky Lane is due to be inspected at 1.15 p.m. but if it is ruled our of action again, the intention is that it will be switched to Molesey FC, who have kindly come to Chessington's rescue.

The ongoing problems at Chalky Lane with the pitch which are far worse this season than any in the past were discussed at last night's Management Meeting when the club appeared before the Committee.

There are various initiatives set up to happen in the summer which will hopefully resolve or at least ease the problem and these were accepted by the Committee, who were though in no doubt that the situation had to improve drastically next season.
