Guildford City Announce New Signings

Close season it might be but City manager Dean Thomas and assistant Martin Dynan have for several weeks been hard at work planning for the new campaign. Dates for the pre-season campaign have now been confirmed, and the first of several new signings can now be announced.

Guildford City Football Club is pleased to announce that Perry Coles (pictured) and Bobby Dormer have agreed to sign for the club for the coming season. Last season both players featured for Camberley Town in their campaign that saw them reach the quarter-finals of the FA Vase and narrowly miss out on promotion from the CCL. Now both players are up for a fresh challenge and are looking forward to helping City push hard at the top end of the table.

A former Bagshot striker, Perry Coles scored 48 goals for Camberley last season in all competitions, and is sure to form an excellent partnership with City’s Player of the Season Matt Anton. Bobby Dormer meanwhile is a powerfully built, and hardworking, central midfield player. He started as a junior at AFC Wimbledon before academy spells at Oxford United and Derby County. After injury and a spell out of the game, Bobby returned to football with Camberley Town where he has been a keystone of the side.
