Last Minute Postponement at Frimley Green

The match between Frimley Green FC and AC London was postponed at short notice on Saturday due to a road accident involving the minibus bringing the AC London players to the ground. Club Secretary Prince Choudary was driving but in swerving to miss a car that shot out in front of him at a roundabout, the minibus almost turned over, with the result that three players had to be taken to hospital, with one kept in overnight, and several others with minor injuries.

Fortunately, it would seem that nobody has been seriously injured which is the main thing.

The Management Committee will consider the unplayed match at the next Management Meeting on Monday 14 November.
