Peter Smith

We have to report the sad news that Peter Smith, Secretary of AFC Croydon Athletic passed away yesterday.

The news has come as a shock as, although Peter spent some time in hospital he was expected to make a full recovery. Peter was an excellent Club Secretary and, along with his brother was instrumental in seeing AFC Croydon back to senior football a few seasons ago.

The League sends its sincere condolences to everyone at AFC Croydon especially Chairman Paul Smith, Peter's brother.

Peter had also served on the League Management Committee as a Club Rep and he will be sincerely missed.
