PROMOTION FROM STEP 5 TO STEP 4

The Football Association has released the names of the 68 clubs to have applied for promotion from Step 5 at the end of the season.

There are five from the CCL, namely:

Camberley Town
Epsom & Ewell
Hartley Wintney
Walton & Hersham
Westfield

Clubs applying need to attain Grade E by 31 March 2017.

Only one club is able to be promoted, usually the champion club but should they not have the grading or have not applied, the 2nd placed club can then be considered, and then the 3rd placed club.

At this early stage, all 14 Step 5 leagues have clubs who have applied.
