From Ian Hart, League Referees Assessment Co-ordinator

In supporting the development of referees officiating on the CCFL, the League has once again offered referees the opportunity of having their assessments examined by Ian Hart the league’s Assessment Co-ordinator who will prepare an individual report for each referee, and then meet with that referee and discuss the findings of the report.

As in previous years, Camberley Town FC have offered their premises to hold some of these meetings without charge to the league. However our normal second location, Surrey County Football Association, would only agree to making their premises available subject to a room charge for each evening. Given that clubs already financially support the assessing scheme this was felt to be disappointing and an alternative has been canvassed. Sutton United FC (through Sutton Common Rovers) was approached and immediately made their premises available to the league at no cost.

The league are therefore delighted to announce that the five evenings of meetings will be jointly held at Camberley Town and Sutton Football clubs in May/June involving 19 referees
