Return to Meadowbank Delayed for a Further Season

Disappointing News for Dorking FC Article from Dorking Web Site

Mole Valley District Council have confirmed to us that they are delaying the rebuilding of Meadowbank by a further season to 2017-18.

The full story on this disappointing news and what it means to the club is breaking exclusively in this week's Dorking Advertiser.

As recently as mid-November, we were assured by the Council that we would be able to return to Meadowbank in 2016 and a third season away from home presents a huge financial challenge for the club over the next 18 months - but if we pull together and get through it, the reward will be huge. We have agreed heads of terms for the long term lease of a fantastic new Meadowbank at the heart of the town and the local sporting community.

We will be fundraising in a variety of ways to save Dorking FC, Surrey's oldest senior football club. Crowdfunding and donations, loans with tax relief, membership subscriptions and a range of sponsorship options for local people and businesses of all sizes. Details will be published soon, but to express an interest in helping save Dorking FC, please email our Chief Executive Jason Rabbetts via dorkingfc@btinternet.com.
