Vase Draw Received

The draw for the 1st Round Proper of the Buildbase FA Vase has been received and is generally favourable for the remaining CCL sides, with every CCL cub drawn at home bar Horley Town.

Here is the draw as it affects our clubs:

AC London or Littlehampton Town v Highworth Town
Ash United v Chichester City
Banstead Athletic v Crowborough Athletic
Bedfont Sports v Buckingham Town
Eastbourne United v Horley Town
Epsom & Ewell v Bridon Ropes
Walton & Hersham v Thame United

The winning clubs will be joined in the 2nd Round by Camberley Town, Hartley Wintney, Knaphill and Sutton Common Rovers, all exempted to the 2nd Round, due to their runs in the competition last season.

Last season we had 11 clubs competing in the 1st Round Proper, which is a little better than this season but as stated, there are four clubs yet to enter the competition, which redresses the balance.
