Abbey Rangers recommended for Grade F

Place in Premier Division confirmed

Following promotion last season into the Premier Division, Abbey Rangers needed their ground to meet the requirements of Grade F by 31 March 2017. Following an inspection, the League is happy to confirm that a recommendation has been sent to the FA that a Grade F should be awarded, following the provision of additional seating, an additional side of hard standing to make it three sides and other more minor matters.

Congratulations go to Chairman Denis Healy and all at Abbey Rangers, not only upon an excellent first campaign in the Premier Division, just two seasons after being promoted from the Surrey Elite League, but also for the quality of the work that has been carried out, to enable the club to go forward.

The League’s choice of Abbey Rangers for the AGM proved popular last season and this season’s AGM will be held at the same venue, just two minutes from Junction 11 of the M25, on Saturday 24 June.
