Guildford City Manager Resigns

Guildford Chairman Issues Statement

It is with sincere regret that Guildford City have to announce that Donovan Chislett has today resigned as manager of the club.

Don joined us in late November last year and steered the team through a successful fight against relegation whilst playing football that was enjoyable to watch. Don’s legacy will be the manner in which we played during our relegation battle and the restoration of the clubs reputation both on and off the pitch.

I am sure that everyone associated with the club, players, coaches and fans will join me and the management committee in thanking Don for his skill, commitment and dedication during his time as manager. We wish him well for the future and expect that he will be successful in whatever he decides to do.
