STATEMENT FROM BEDFONT & FELTHAM

By Admin ccl

Luke Craig steps into hot seat.

After a run of poor results and difficulty in securing a settled playing squad, Joe Monks resigned from his position within the club during the week.

Joe's drive and enthusiasm in trialling new young faces was meant well but the club is not in the best of positions at the moment, holding up the bottom tier of the premier division and realising that things weren't exactly going well spurred his decision to quit.

Club regular and England Fans FC player Luke Craig kindly agreed to take the helm while talks are being held in relation to sourcing a replacement manager. Luke worked his magic and managed to pull together a squad for today's match at local friends Hanworth Villa and the difference was immediately visible - including the return of a number of old faces as well as some whom had recently left the club.

The club wishes Joe Monks all the best in his future managerial career.

The management committee will publicise news of the replacement manager in due course.
