The Combined Counties Football League are now recruiting for the role of Assistant League Secretary. The successful candidate will take upon a similar role to the League General Secretary sharing the duties and activities as directed by the League General Secretary.
Such activities include, but not limited to, the following:-
Communicating with member clubs, passing on information received from various football organisations and as directed by the board of directors.
Taking the minutes at League Management meetings and publishing these ahead of subsequent meetings.
Maintaining a record of club floodlighting certificates and reminding clubs when a retest is required.
Requesting and collecting club match programmes, whether physical or electronic, to ensure programmes are being produced.
Writing to member clubs to remind them of deadlines relating to ground grading requirements and arranging ground inspection visits on behalf of the ground grading sub-committee.
Sitting on sub-committees of the company and taking minutes thereat. Providing the necessary documentation for consideration by each sub-committee.
Administer the provisions of League Rule 20 regrading admission fees and ensuring compliance by member clubs.
Maintain records in line with League Rule 21 and remind the Board of directors when awards are due to be considered.
Obtain records from member clubs annually to ensure that they are in compliance with league rule 24 regarding insurance policies.
Administer the provisions of league rule 37 regarding member club financial records should the Board of directors decide it necessary.
Monitor the providing and uptake of hospitality criteria requirements as defined in league rule 38 and issue fines where these criteria have not been met.
Receive requests from member clubs for changes of name or legal status and ensure that these are placed before the Board of directors for consideration.
The Assistant League Secretary will work closely with the League General Secretary and other members of the Board of directors and officers of the competition.
