Fire Damage at Egham Town

As has been reported, the main stand at one of our member clubs, Egham Town FC, was burnt out by local vandals on 4 May. It is a massive blow for the club but could have been far worse. Fortunately, the Fire Brigade arrived quickly to prevent the fire spreading to nearby houses but the stand could not be saved.

The only good news is that three youngsters have now been arrested by the police and hopefully they will soon realise that arson is a very serious crime.
