New Manager Appointed

The club are delighted to welcome Dan Huxley to the recreational ground as the new Manager of Frimley Green FC.

Dan Played most notably for Walton Casuals, Colliers Wood, Cobham and most recently Dorking FC. As a player an industrious defender/Midfielder who stepped into management whilst playing as the assistant manager of Cobham whilst in his 3 year spell with the club.
Dan then went over to cove as a Player/Coach which progressed into taking the management position as joint manager in the 2012/2013 season.

Since that success, Dan has worked as a scout with Brentford in the professional development phase and then Preston North End which saw progression to 1st Team Opposition Analysis work in the league 1 promotion season. Also holding the role of chief scout at Farnborough FC in the conference south. This season saw a return to playing for Dorking FC before the season was cut short due to injury.

The club welcomes Dan on board, whose passion and ambition to succeed and organised approach to football, matches those of Frimley Green FC who believe in providing young, ambitious managers the chance to realise their potential with the club.

Danny Perks and Ian Messenger will continue to manage the team for the remainder of the season, with Dan being a presence around the ground but concentrating on his planning for the 2016/2017 season.
