Release of Fixtures

The League has confirmed that the early season fixtures up to and including Saturday 13 August will be released to clubs, etc., on Friday 15 July.

The whole annual fixture list will hopefully be released on or before 26 July.

Preparation of the fixtures was thrown into some chaos by the unexpected and very late notification received from the FA that the Extra-Preliminary Round of the FA Cup was to be brought forward by two weeks from recent seasons, to Saturday 6 August.

Clubs in the CCL were asked if they wanted a league fixture prior to playing in the FA Cup and the League has done its best to accommodate all those who said they did. It makes for a messy start to the season though and the League remains totally opposed to this arbitrary change which does nothing for the reputation of England's greatest competition.
